The LG G Pro 2 rumors keep piling up. After we’ve heard few details about its camera, we’re now talking about the phablet’s sound capabilities.

According to Korean ETnews (and brought to our attention by the good folks of PhoneArena), LG’s baby will feature 1W speaker(s) and thickened bass booster, which will make the G Pro 2 one of the loudest phones on the planet. The entire setup should apparently ensure users get the “cleanest, fullest, and most powerful sounds coming from a mobile phone.” Hear that HTC? Your One series may soon get some real competition from LG.

In the other news, we’re hearing that the upcoming phablet will also sport Smart Listening capability a la Moto X. It’s unclear whether LG will rely on its own voice assistant app or use Google Now to help its users interact with the G Pro 2 without touch it.

Guess the time for rumors and leaks is (almost) over with only two weeks (or so) separating us from the phablet’s official announcement in Barcelona… (intomobile)
