After months of leaks and rumors the Nokia Lumia Icon for Verizon is finally official. We already know practically everything about this device, but now we can finally talk about it with some certainty. Nokia has just released a blog post about their next U.S. flagship phone. Let’s take a look at this Icon-ic device (sorry, I had to).
The Lumia Icon has an aluminum and ceramic construction that comes in at just .39-inches thick and 5.8 oz. it has that 20MP PureView camera we’ve been expecting, similar to the one on the Lumia 1520. Nokia has built-in four lossless microphones throughout the device to capture perfect audio. You can see this in action in the video below.
Powering the Icon is the quad-core processor from the Lumia 1520. The 5-inch display is full HD OLED with curved glass around the edges. It has a 2420 mAh battery with built-in wireless charging. This is an absolute gorgeous Windows Phone device. The Icon takes the power of the Lumia 1520 and puts it in a more pocketable package.
The Lumia Icon will go on sale February 20th at Verizon stores and online for $200 with new contract. Microsoft Stores have started taking pre-orders now, and they are throwing in a free accessory if you purchase before March 16th. Who is getting one?! (winsource)
